本名・丸山　優
一九四一年一月一日、愛知県瀬戸市生まれ。
父親の営んでいた板金業を手伝うも
幼少より絵が好きだったことから
十八歳より独学で刺青の道へ。
趣味と実益をかね巡拝した神社仏閣は
四十五都道府県に渡り、彫刻を写真に撮りおさめて歩いている。

【Maruyama Masaru】
Born January 1, 1941 in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. Although he helped his father's sheet metal industry, he loved painting since he was a child, so he taught himself to tattoo from the age of eighteen. The shrines and temples that have been pilgrimaged for hobbies have traveled to 45 prefectures, taking pictures of sculptures and walking.
